30-Man Kumite for St. Luke's Hospice Completed

On March 1st 2015, Sensei Ted Clare successfully completed a series of thirty 2-minute bouts to raise money for St. Luke's Hospice Cheshire. Fighting against numerous opponents from a range of disciplines, through fatigue and injury he was able to overcome a full hour of continuous fighting.
The Modern Kenpo Karate Association would like to express its pride in Sensei Ted's accomplishment today and its gratitude to all of the combatants that fought for an excellent cause. Furthermore, we would like to thank everyone who helped in the organisation and promotion of the event for their hard work behind the scenes. Finally, we wish to extend our gratitude to all of the spectators who came to lend their support to Sensei Ted and make generous donations to St. Luke's Hospice.
